Summerville is the perfect place to celebrate small town life and we invite you to join us at any of the awesome events held throughout the year. Enjoy local sporting events year-round at Gahagan Park or pick up some arts & crafts in the spring at the Flowertown Festival or just come out to celebrate the fourth of July. There is always something fun and exciting to do in Summerville.

The beautiful setting of Azalea Park makes the perfect backdrop for several events that draw not only the community, but visitors from around the world. The annual Sculpture in the South Exhibit and Sale, the Flowertown Festival and Taste of the Town event are just a few held in Azalea Park, one of the most beautiful parks in the Lowcountry.

Summerville events happen year-round and not just at the park. Our historic downtown is host to events that draw on the "small town - big charm" of Summerville. Some of the highlights in downtown include the July 4th Red, White and Blue celebration, October's Scarecrows on the Square, and of course, December's fun and festive Holly Days. You will feel right at home in Summerville.
