Event Submission

VisitSummerville.com serves as a travel resource for Summerville visitors and residents. We highlight events that will be of interest to out-of-town visitors, as well as some smaller, community events that foster a welcoming environment for both locals and visitors.

Please read the following requirements below before submitting your request:

FILL OUT ALL FIELDS

• Be sure to add all relevant information about your event. Date, time, place, description, contact information, ticket links, image, etc.
  

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Event should take place in Summerville. Events in neighboring communities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Event must be open to the general public. (Not for pass-holders or members only.)
• No solicitations will be accepted.
• No virtual events.
• Submit events no less than 10 days in advance.

EXAMPLES OF EVENTS WE WILL LIST

• Festivals, travel shows & expos, sporting events, fairs, arts & cultural events, markets, special tours, classes and workshops that are not ongoing (for example: every Tuesday), holiday activities, concerts & live music, historical events, family events, nature & wildlife events, runs & marathons

EVENTS WE WILL NOT LIST

• Political events, church services, summer camps, retail events (sales & promotions), regularly scheduled meetings & classes, recitals, business meetings, personal fundraisers, seminars, home parties, deals & discounts (happy hour, dining specials, grand openings), permanent exhibitions or tours, job fairs, events that are discriminatory to any individual or group

Exceptions to these guidelines may be made at the discretion of Visit Summerville.

NOTE: Submission of an event does not guarantee that it will be approved to the calendar. Once the administrator reviews and approves the submission, the event will be posted on the calendar.
