Azalea Park is located along both sides of South Main Street between West 3rd South and West 5th South streets. The crown jewel of our parks system, Azalea Park has a little to offer for everyone. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the winding paths and enjoy all the sights and sounds the park has to offer.
Throughout the year, the azaleas and camellias provide a spectacular view or admire the year-round beauty of our reflection ponds and bronze sculptures.
Azalea Park has two tennis courts available for recreational play, is home to the Cuthbert Community Center which can be rented for your special event needs, and has two beautiful wedding gazebos that are available for rent for your special day. Doty Park is located at 320 North Laurel Street. Home to the Town of Summerville's Tennis Program.
Doty Park has six lighted tennis courts, as well as a children's playground, three picnic shelters with tables, and horseshoe pits.
Doty Park is also home to our Depot Building, which is able to be rented for special events.

Jerry Blackwell Sports Complex at Gahagan Park is located at 515 West Boundary Street. The sports complex has six baseball/softball fields and a football field, and plays host to numerous baseball/softball tournaments throughout the year.
The complex is also home to the Town's adult softball leagues, the Summerville Girls' Softball League, the Sertoma Youth Football League, and the newly formed Summerville Cricket Club.
Other amenities include the incredibly popular Plantation Playground (a wooden, community-built, children's playground), two bronze sculptures, and two picnic shelters with tables.
Located just across from Town Hall. This landscaped "town square" that hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including Summerville DREAM's Third Thursday events, the Junior Service League's 'Scarecrows on the Square,' and the Town's annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

Herbert H. Jessen Boat Landing & Rotary Centennial Park are located at 4820 Ladson Road Extension.
In addition to a public boat landing and fishing pier, Jessen Boat Landing has a walking trail and boardwalk area overlooking the picturesque Ashley River (designated as a SC Scenic River in 1998), as well as a picnic shelter with tables and an oyster shell recycling site.
Just off the north end of the parking lot, users will find the trailhead for Rotary Centennial Park, a short nature trail with a boardwalk and observation deck area.
Maintaining a "natural" look, the children's playground features a treehouse playground and a picnic shelter with tables. There is also a paved connector from the parking lot to the Sawmill Branch Trail.

This quaint little park includes a children's playground and a walking trail that leads through a beautiful camellia garden and around a small pond with a bronze sculpture.

Summerville Skate Park is located at the corner of South Magnolia and East Richland Streets, just off the Berlin G. Myers Parkway.
The 5,000 sq. ft. park has a variety of features, including a grind box, rail, bench, and center piece featuring a ramp, stairs, railing, and Hubba ledge.
Wassamassaw Community Park is located at 651 Wassamassaw Road. This beautiful park has a lot to offer, including a children's playground, a picnic shelter with tables, a basketball court, green space for open recreation, two separate small and large dog runs, and a walking track.
Brown Family Park has been a regional draw since it hosted Summerville's very first Piccolo Spoleto event in 2015. Hosting larger outdoor music events and the annual Cocoa Cup 5K. Brown family Park also regularly host bocce ball games, lunch-time walks, and family gatherings.
